MBO China, a subsidiary of the MBO Group, will be present with its own stand at Print China. This trade show, one of the largest worldwide for the printing industry, is held in Dongguan/Guangdong every four years. This year, it will be opening its doors from 9 to 13 April. At show stand 3-B302, with an area of 200 m², MBO China will be exhibiting two combi folding machines for the B1 / 70×100 cm format range: the K70 and the K80.
The K70 is the entry-level model from MBO. It is available as a manual machine and scores points with its very good price/performance ratio. The K70 is suitable for high-precision, high-performance production of folded products such as signatures and flyers in medium and high print run lengths. Even complicated folding impositions can be produced with absolute precision. At the Print China trade show, the K70 will be equipped with a pile feeder. Behind the folding machine stands the tried and trusted vertical stacker delivery MBO SBAP72.
The second machine, the K80, will be on display as an automated machine with a palletized feeder. MBO also offers this machine as a manual model. One of the highlights of the K80 is the standard patented slitter shaft cassette in the parallel fold. The cassette is removable. This means that all tools and strippers can be adjusted quickly and precisely outside the machine and at the ergonomically ideal height. The slitter shaft cassette helps to reduce setup time by up to 60 %. The K80 is also equipped with the Vivas vacuum system as standard. Vivas ensures flat sheet infeed and optimum sheet running with high throughput capacity. Vivas also guarantees that there are no marks, even with delicate and freshly printed products.
The MBO A10 log stacker will be on display behind the K80 at the Print China trade show. The folded signatures are bundled in the A10 to logs, which are output onto a buffer table. This buffer leaves the operator free to concentrate on operational tasks, carry out quality assurance or even operate two folding machines simultaneously without problems. The bundled logs can be placed on pallets, for example using a crane, additionally relieving the burden on the operator.
