Optic Print Steps Up Their Production
In true fashion of Printech founder Mr. Thomas van den Oever, we recently assisted a local Cape Town based company to step up into the next league. We recently had the opportunity to facilitate an upgrade with Optic Print, a family run company extending over three generations deep rooted in Cape Town’s printing field.
Traditionally a jobbing printer with a digital and Litho printing department, there was a need to find equipment that could handle the challenges that were being faced on their existing Litho machinery. ‘The challenges that we faced were accurate registration of printed sheets, achieving quality solids and eliminating ghosting on challenging jobs.’ According to the Optic Family.
We were pleased when Optic Print contacted us to assist them with their machinery investment. After consultation and understanding of their operational requirements we could advise possible machinery options to improve their print quality and enhance their output capacity.
The machine most suited to their specific needs was a Heidelberg Speedmaster 52 two colour perfector with numbering and perforation. The machine underwent a major service and tailored refurbishing suited to the clients requirements and budget to be delivered to the customer in true Printech style, Alternative to New.
‘We are very satisfied with the results on press, we no longer need to outsource these challenging jobs, we look forward to working closely with Printech with our future machine purchases.’ States the Optic Family.
At Printech we pride ourselves on our workmanship and quality equipment delivered to our customers, carried out by a highly skilled engineering team. We look forward to an ongoing partnership into the future with Optic Print.
